Please find below additional information on how we may use information about you specifically for the Bracknell Samaritans Run:

1. Bracknell & Districts Samaritans and its suppliers take data privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to facilitate the running of the event.

2. We will contact you by email to give updates and important information about the event.

3. Please tick the consent box in the race sign-up form if you wish to receive infirmation by email about future events. You can unsubscribe from such marketing emails at any time.

4. We will not pass your information on to any marketing organisation or third party other than the following events management provider (which also collects payment) and sports timing provider as necessary to run the event:

   • Eventrac (using Stripe for payments). For information on how Eventrac deals with privacy please see Privacy Notice.

   • Berg Partnership Ltd, trading as Rogue Racer Sports Timing. For information on how Rogue Racer deals with privacy please see Privacy Notice. Your personal information will be retained indefinitely by Rogue Racer for archiving and statistical purposes. If at any time you wish to have your details removed, please contact them using the feedback facility on the results website or via the contact details in the linked privacy notice.

5. We retain your donation information, gift aid records, any medical information in the event of a recorded injury, and any complaints for as long as is necessary for legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Other information is retained for a year after the event.

6. We are committed to review and correct any inaccuracy in personal data. If you believe we have any errors in personal data about you, please contact the race organisers.

7. We will use the information that we ask you to write on the back of your race number only in the event of an emergency, as deemed by our marshals or the attendant emergency services. We suggest that you dispose of your race number in a secure manner after the event.

8. Your photograph and/or video footage may be taken by the official race photographer as part of our legitimate interests to record and publicise the event and future events. Should you have any objections to your image being used for these purposes, please contact the race organisers.
